Mrs. Femina came to our clinic with a chief complaint of gum bleeding & mobile teeth, she told us that this problem has been there for her since adulthood but as she procrasinated the treatment, it worsened gradually & now she is not even able to eat or chew foods without having pain & discomfort.

1. Documentation

Set of all intra oral photos (Occlusal view, side view, bite view) were taken, Potrait shots along with smile & close up smile photos were recorded with DSLR for proper analysis & further planning.

A 3D CBCT XRAY was taken in order for us to understand her situation & the bone condition so that we can tailor a proper plan for her.

2..Consultation and Planning

We will perform a thorough examination, including 3D CBCT imaging, to assess your jawbone’s condition and plan the implant placement. A detailed plan will be created, outlining the steps of the procedure, including the surgical placement of the implant, the healing period, and the final crown placement.

3. Implant Placement

Surgical Procedure: we removed all the affected & weakned teeth along with the swollen gums & proper curretting was done to remove the infections present later implants were placed accordingly.

Due to the less amount of bone in upper arch, we used SMU (Single piece Multiunit implants) with titanium bar for quicker healing & better osseointegration.This procedure was performed under local anesthesia, and the implants were strategically placed to provide a solid foundation for the new teeth using Navident software.

 Healing Period: (6 months to 8 months)  Implants needed time to integrate & for the gums to heal so during this period, we fixed temporary restorations (3D printed resin) to maintain functionality and appearance. This bridge has a life span of around 6- 8 months.

Custom Milled Bridges: Once the implants had successfully integrated with the bone, custom milled bridges will be crafted to match the size, shape, and color of her natural teeth.
